1920s Art Deco Dress
Splendid dress that went together perfectly. Looks just like the drawing.

The Studebaker Dress
This pattern caught my eye because it was reminiscent of patterns i had seen in my copies of the 1928 and 1929 Butterick Quarterly magazines. I made this dress as my period piece for our 1929 Studebaker Commander. The sleeves of my muslin test garment were too tight for my liking, so I added some extra width for my final dress. Other than the sleeves, I didn’t need to make any fitting adjustments. Lining up the dots for the front pleats was an unexpected challenge. The rest of the garment went together easily.
