"Talk about rockabilly charm- I found a 1940s vintage floral fabric and decided this was the dress for it. Instead of a ruffle for the revers and pockets I opted for Cluny lace, and I moved the belt/tie so that rather than the raw edges being stitched into the side seam where the closure would be, I placed it in the seams between the waist front and waist side fronts (I DID have to lengthen the belt for this to tie nicely in back). It went together very easily, but the neckline was a bit sticky for me. I found I needed to adjust and re-adjust before I got it to where I wanted it to be. Also, the pocket marking was a bit off but an easy fix - I just hiked it up 1/2 inch and it was perfect. I adore the look and was so pleased it was available in the larger sizing".
